Plate & Plan ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by New Genesis Global Solutions LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to the Plate & Plan website at plateplan.health and to the P&P Flex Android application (package name health.plateplan.flex). It explains what information is handled, where it is stored, how purchases are processed, and the choices available to you.
1. Information Handled on the Plate & Plan Website
- Quiz answers — your stated goal, dietary preferences, activity level, and available cooking time. These are used to generate your plan.
- Email address — collected at checkout to deliver your purchase and provide order-related communication.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Basic website usage data — such as pages visited, device or browser information, and approximate location used for site operations, analytics, security, and advertising measurement.
2. Information Handled in P&P Flex
P&P Flex does not require an account or sign-in. The app handles the following meal-planning information on your device:
- meal-planning preferences, including your goal, eating style, activity level, cooking time, servings, and ingredients you choose to avoid;
- your current seven-day meal plan and current-week start date;
- grocery-list checkmarks and meal-completion progress;
- recent-week history stored by the app; and
- local onboarding and lifetime-unlock status used to display the correct app experience.
This planning information is stored locally in the app's storage on your device. The current Android release does not send this planning information to Plate & Plan servers.
3. Local Storage, Control, and Deletion
Your P&P Flex planning data remains on your device unless you change it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Removal and restoration may also depend on your Android device's operating-system backup and restore settings. Because the planning data is not held on Plate & Plan servers, we generally cannot retrieve or delete it remotely. You can remove it through your device's app-storage settings or by uninstalling P&P Flex.
4. Google Play Billing and Purchase Status
The P&P Flex lifetime unlock is processed through Google Play Billing. Google processes your Google account, payment method, payment-card details, taxes, fraud-prevention information, and transaction records under Google's own terms and privacy policies. Plate & Plan does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
To display the price, start a purchase, acknowledge a completed purchase, and restore access, the app communicates with Google Play Billing. The app receives limited product and entitlement information, such as the product identifier, formatted price, currency, and whether the purchase is completed, pending, cancelled, or not owned. The Google Play Billing library uses a purchase token when required to acknowledge the transaction. P&P Flex does not send that token or your meal-planning information to Plate & Plan servers.
5. App Events and Analytics
P&P Flex generates limited internal interface events, such as plan creation, meal swaps, grocery-item checks, and purchase or restore actions, so the app can respond to your actions. In the current Android release, these events remain within the app and Google Analytics is not configured in the app. If app analytics or another off-device data practice is introduced later, this policy and the relevant store disclosures will be updated before that collection begins.
6. How We Use Information
For the website, we use information to generate and deliver personalized meal plans, process payments, provide order support, review refund requests, improve the product and website, maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal or operational requirements.
Within P&P Flex, locally stored information is used to build and maintain your weekly plan, apply your selected preferences, scale grocery quantities, track meal and shopping progress, preserve recent weeks, and restore the app experience on your device.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
7. Service Providers
We rely on service providers for functions such as website hosting, payment processing, digital delivery, analytics, advertising, and technical operations. These providers may process limited information needed to perform their services according to their own terms and privacy policies. Google Play provides Android app distribution and in-app billing. Stripe processes purchases made through the Plate & Plan website.
8. Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand general website usage, including page visits, devices, traffic sources, and interaction events. We do not intentionally send email addresses, full payment details, or sensitive quiz responses as analytics parameters. This website analytics statement does not mean that P&P Flex sends your locally stored planning information to Google Analytics.
9. Website Advertising, Cookies, and Google AdSense
The Plate & Plan website may use Google AdSense and related advertising technologies. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, frequency controls, fraud prevention, and related operations. P&P Flex does not display third-party advertising in the current Android release.
Where applicable law or Google policy requires consent, relevant website storage or advertising technologies may be limited until the visitor provides a choice through the available consent mechanism.

10. Data Retention
Website quiz answers, order records, and related technical information are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver purchases, provide support, process refunds, prevent abuse, maintain records, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention periods can differ depending on the type of information and the provider involved.
P&P Flex planning information remains locally on your device until you change or remove it as described above. Google Play may retain purchase and account records according to Google's own policies and legal obligations.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request a portable copy of certain personal information held in connection with the website. You may also have choices regarding cookies and advertising technologies where those controls are available.
For P&P Flex data stored only on your device, you control that information through the app and your Android app-storage settings. If you are in the EEA, United Kingdom, or another region with specific privacy laws, additional rights may apply.
12. Children
Plate & Plan and P&P Flex are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through P&P Flex. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the website, contact us so we can review the request.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and operational measures designed to protect website, order, and app-related information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Protect access to your device, keep Android and P&P Flex updated, and do not send payment credentials or medical records to us by email.
